Finance Manager

The Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for group reporting, management accounts and commercial finance, operating in a fast-paced, multi-entity structure.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA qualified professional seeking their next step into a senior finance position.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review management accounts and consolidated Group accounts
• Variance analysis on budget vs prior year, including insightful commentary on performance
• Assist in the production of monthly Board packs and investor reporting
• Prepare annual statutory accounts for multiple entities under UK GAAP and liaise with external auditors
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and support Corporation Tax computations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support business cases, investments and improvement initiatives
• Maintain robust financial controls and contribute to process improvements
• Supervise and develop junior finance team members
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted finance partner

About You

• ACA Qualified (2-3 years PQE)
• Experience supporting audits and working with external auditors
• Management accounting experience within a complex structure
• Solid understanding of UK GAAP and consolidation accounting
• Advanced Excel skills

• Experience in professional services
• Understanding of WIP accounting
• Experience in acquisition integration or due diligence
