Finance Manager

Job Description

As Finance Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of the business. You will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goal. You are able to collaborate effectively across various departments and have a strong understanding of the engineering sector.

Responsibilities

• Review WIP and Overheads and process month end journals and analysis.
• Generate timely and accurate financial statements and present financial information to leadership, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement.
• Cash flow management 
• Process monthly and weekly payroll through our ERP system
• Ensure all purchase invoices are processed on the ERP system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to align financial goals.
• Monitor budget variances and report on variances.

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, QBE or accounting qualification(e.g., CFA, CPA CIMA, ACA, ICEAW) all desirable but part qualified also considered.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong Excel Skills
• Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Package – £40k–£45k DOE
• Location: Alderley Park
