Group Management Accountant

Sowena is supporting a high-profile commercial company, with their search for a qualified Group Management Accountant, based in Birmingham City Centre, where you’ll play a key role in financial reporting, performance analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports

• Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

• Partner with operational teams to improve cost control and efficiency

• Assist with year-end processes and audit requirements

• Identify opportunities for process improvement across finance operation

About You

• Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent Excel and financial modelling ability

• Confident communicating financial insights to non-finance stakeholders

• Experience in a large group, commercial business is advantageous
