Management Accountant

Sowena is supporting a high-profile logistics company, with their search for a Part Qualified Management Accountant, based in Birmingham City Centre. This is a great opportunity for someone currently studying who wants hands-on exposure to management accounts, financial analysis and business partnering within a dynamic logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

 • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports

 • Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights

 • Support budgeting and forecasting processes

 • Partner with operational teams to improve cost control and efficiency

 • Assist with year-end processes and audit requirements

 • Identify opportunities for process improvement across finance operations

About You

 • Studying towards Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) 

 • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 • Excellent Excel and financial modelling ability

 • Confident communicating financial insights to non-finance stakeholders

 • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or a fast-paced commercial environment is advantageous but not essential
