Sowena Group has been retained in the search for a new Corporate Deal Executive to join a market-leading business advisory group at a pivotal stage in its growth journey. As Senior Corporate Manager, you will take ownership of an already established portfolio of live deals, ensuring smooth execution and successful delivery for clients, whilst supporting more junior members of the team
We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Senior Corporate Manager to join our clients senior dealmaker team. This role will take ownership of an established portfolio of live deals, ensuring smooth execution and successful delivery for our clients. You will play a key role in supporting transactions from start to finish, collaborating with senior colleagues, and mentoring junior team members.
This is a delivery-focused role with no origination responsibilities – you will inherit an existing pipeline, managing relationships and driving transactions to completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute a portfolio of active corporate deals, ensuring timely progress and high-quality delivery.
- Oversee due diligence, transaction processes, and deal documentation.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and review presentations, reports, and supporting materials for transactions.
- Support and mentor junior members of the team, providing guidance and reviewing their work.
- Collaborate closely with senior dealmakers to ensure a consistent and efficient client experience.
- Monitor deal performance and provide updates to leadership and clients.
Qualifications/Skills
- Previous experience in corporate finance, M&A, transaction services, or business development.
- Strong financial, commercial, and analytical skills with a proven track record of managing transactions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and deliver under pressure.
- Experience in supporting and guiding junior colleagues (preferrable but not essential.)
- Degree educated (finance, economics, business, or related field desirable.)
