Sowena Group Shortlisted for North West Business of the Year Awards

We’re incredibly proud to share that Sowena Group has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Start Up category at the 2025 North West Business of the Year Awards!

This recognition is a huge milestone for us, especially as we only recently celebrated one year of trading. It’s a testament to the hard work, innovation, and dedication of our team, and we’re honoured to be recognised alongside so many inspiring businesses across the region.

What are the awards?

The North West Business of the Year Awards, led by The Business Desk, celebrate the very best business successes from across the region. The awards spotlight companies that are innovating, disrupting, and thriving, with categories for every size and sector from sustainability and international trade to family business and fast growth.

The judging process is rigorous: all shortlisted companies are visited by a panel of judges before being invited to pitch why they should win. Winners will be revealed at a high-profile black-tie awards evening in Manchester later this year.
